Experience in research, training and documentation:

1.

As Director, State Resource Centre for Adult Literacy, Reader cum   Research Officer of the Composite Correspondence Course in Kannada, and as Academic Secretary of the Central Institute of Indian Languages, besides doing research, have gained extensive experience in the preparation of campaign materials, writing of reports, administering different kinds of training programs for a range of personnel.

2.

Also continuously maintained liaison with universities, institutions and other organizations.
3.

Made persuasive presentations for international audience at Budapest, Hungary; Munich, Germany; Kathmandu, Nepal and recently at Kualalumpur, Malaysia.

4.

As Head of the Corpora projects in the Central Institute of Indian Languages well experienced in the creation of text and spoken corpora of major and minor Indian languages.
5.

Proficient with the use of computers and been formally trained for professional purposes in the use of Windows based applications, like MS DOS, MS Word, Power Point, and dBase etc.

6.

Trained also in Effective Communication Skills, Personnel Management, and Values in Administration.
