Announce

The Linguistic Data Consortium for Indian Languages is set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India at the Central Institute of Indian Languages for creating language resources in Indian Languages for research and development purposes.

For the year 2010-11 the LDC-IL invites short term proposals from interested individuals and institutions for taking up the work of creating language resources. The duration of the proposed projects should be brief and with tangible out comes/deliverables at the end of every 3 months. Preferably each project should not exceed 9 months in total. All the projects should have direct relevance and bearing on the areas under the LDC-IL project as detailed in the LDC-IL document. The work undertaken should also follow the technical and academic standards set up by the LDC-IL for its research activities. The interested institutions/scholars may please send the proposals in the format given below through E-mail to the following two mail IDs:
